Re: Cambridge
As a long time Winterhawk fan I am having a hard time getting past all the resignations and the cancellation of the hockey camp. Still have a lot of options to spend money and time at Arenas, was hoping the Simcoe move to Hespeler rink would take place. http://www.therecord.com/sports-story/7263176...

Re: Sutherland Cup Finals; London vs Elmira
Don't know a lot about London. I did pick London to beat Listowel. I think a lot of pressure will be on London. Elmira will be on a high after beating Caledonia. And there the wildcard team so they have nothing to loose. There all ready the talk of the town. So London better bring there A game and p...

Re: Sutherland Cup Semi Finals; Caledonia vs Elmira
This was a great serious could have went either way. Four one goal wins for Elmira. All the credit goes to Elmira. Very well coached team that stuck to the game plan. They never gave up and never looked for excuses. When playing a team like Caledonia it's not the 20 year old thing. It's the OHL expe...

Re: Sutherland Cup Semi Finals; Caledonia vs Elmira
Elmira won 2-1 in score. Out worked Caledonia 2 to 1 in periods played.
This looks like it's going to be a long series not a short one like a lot of us thought.
I was impressed with Elmira's speed and game plan. The better team tonight for sure.

Schedule the playoffs better
I was thinking this at the St Kitts game why didn't Johnstone pull his goalie when they had a PP at the end of the game. But than I thought he didn't really know the outcome of the Elmira / Listowel series for the goal differential. Elmira won the wildcard by giving up one less goal than St Kitts. B...

MidWest Time To Septup
I remember reading at the beginning of the year but I can't remember where and who. But they were picking the Sutherland Cup champs coming out of the MidWest. With two teams in the Sutherland Cup playoffs it's time to prove it. Or will Elmira and Listowel fold do to there success just comes from pla...

London in 6 games.
Both teams numbers are all good PP, PK, defence goaltenders.
But I like London's experience

Re: Finals; Listowel vs Elmira predictions
If Listowel wins are they number one going into the Sutherland Cup.They get home ice. They can't play Elmira so they play Caledonia or London. Is London ahead of Caledonia or is Caledonia ahead of London. If Listowel loses they still play Caledonia or London but loose home ice. Same goes with Elmira...

Re: Finals; Caledonia vs St.Catharines
Like most people thought Caledonia wins in 6 games. Congrats boys. The refs did a good job of letting them play. Chenard was in net for Caledonia he looked good. Caledonia put the hammer down in the second 3 unanswered goals. The short hand goal in the third killed St Kitts. I don't know why Johnsto...

I was at the game. The call at the game was 4 mins for tripping and a game misconduct. I was surprise to see they change in to slashing and attempt to injure . Never really thought much about it. https://www.sachem.ca/sports-story/7210536-battle-for-golden-horseshoe-supremacy-set/ I think Caledonia could win in 6 or 7. I also think St Kitts could win in 6 or 7. Some good most posts on this subject. And there's always lots to talk about. I have to admit that I thought the same way. I guess it's up to the player but it's hard to argue with some of the success some of these players have had moving up.Look at this year and this is just a few. Chris Janzen 3yrs...
