Ancaster
https://www.hamiltonnews.com/sports-story/7678578-ancaster-avalanche-battle-bigger-more-experienced-opponents/ Van Loon was the best player on the ice. Playing against players a lot older and that played in higher levels of hockey. He wasn't scared to mix it up to. A lot of slashing, poking in the f...

Big Test for Caledonia
Should be a good test for Caledonia the next three games. All road games, N.F. (who they have not played yet) Ancaster which have really improve this year and still adding players. St Kitts next Friday who have all ready beat Caledonia. What will be the big test is special teams. Caledonia is awful ...

Re: Cat and Mouse
I see Ryan Smith and Andrew Somerville have been placed on waivers by the Icedogs. If they clear waivers they would be a good pick up for any JR-B team or JR-A team. Both had good years with Fort Erie (Somerville) and Thorold( Smith) Somerville is from St Catharines you never know. Dog Biscuits: Juk...

Cat and Mouse
The cat and mouse games have stared in Caledonia and St Catharines. A day after St Catharines picked up 18 year old Gianluca Fuoco from the Saginaw Spirt; Caledonia picked up 18 year old Owen Lane from Sudbury Wolves. He had a good 2015/2016 with the Dutchmen. Just the start of the moves these two t...

Re: St Catharines vs Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls loss a lot of offence from last year. From one of the best PP last year.
They went 1 - 21 against St Catharines. But maybe St Catharines is that good.
PK starts with your goalie and they got one of the best in the GO.

Re: London Strong Again
The thing about London I don't think they have played with a full line up yet.
Mit. Webb 1 game Brooksaw 1 game Andiauer, Sinclair and Wilson havn't played yet.
I think there still with the team. And I count 10 20 year olds on there roster.
This must be a mistake.

Good to see Thorold compete so well against Welland. Ending in a 3-3 tie

Glanbrook Rangers look to be the team that might beat out the Grimsby Peach Kings this year. With lots of returning veterans players back. Re: A lot of goalie movement
I here you good point on glad there still in the league. The GO have always developed good goalies only to see them move on in a few years. Which is great but a lot just move on to the OJHL. There's a few teams in the OJHL that seem to use the GO as a goalie development league. All they got to do is...

Pelham and Thorold will fight for 6 and 7. Buffalo (8) should improve I hope from last year. I see Caledonia has pick up 3 more...

A good trade by both teams. Caledonia was in a situation here with no number #1 goalie and too many 20 year olds. Welland needed more depth and I guest McCorriston wanted out. Gonyou and Fowler will help this year. But the key to this trade is Oriet and Winchester there young they will blossom in We...
