Re: Changes in Sarnia
That's surprising. They had a really good season. I don't think you can blame anyone for the first round loss, St.Thomas just wanted those games more.

Re: 2nd Round Predictions
Welland underrated, and a well coached team, well if nothing else , thats something new. A statement like that tells me you haven't taken in too many Welland games this year. I get what you're saying. That's what I meant by underrated. They looked to have a lot better team on paper. But they just d...

Re: Flyers vs Stars Schedule
Big game tonight. Will the Stars keep surprising people? Or will the Flyers show them why they've been a Cup contender the last several years?
I'm going to say the Stars come up with a big OT win tonight.

Re: Caledonia vs Niagara Falls thread
Caledonia wins game one 4-2. Looks like they came out flying, building a 3-0 lead. But Niagara Falls slowed them down after they got their legs going. Maybe the Canucks will win a couple. If they give it everything they have, they might be able to come out on top in a couple of games.

St.Catharines vs Ancaster thread
It's been pointed out that the Falcons struggled at times this season. But that's been a trend with them the last few years, and has never really happened to them in the playoffs though. They had no problem with Pelham in the first round. Keep in mind Pelham played them close in the regular season. ...

Re: 2nd Round Predictions
Welland was underrated this season. They are also a very well coached team, and that can mean a lot in the playoffs. Ancaster still didn't have any trouble with them, really.

Re: 2nd Round predictions
The 3rd & 4th seeds both gone in the first round. Wow... London over Chatham in 5 St.Thomas with the upset over Leamington in 7. The Stars have a lot of momentum heading into this series. Beating the Flyers isn't easy for anyone. But I have a feeling this will be the year of the upsets in the We...

Re: Who Doesn't Love a Game 7?!
Chatham has been up and down this season. I felt like they were capable of taking LaSalle out, but just didn't think it would happen. What a series they've played though. Chatham is looking good. I hope they win tonight!

Re: Playoff Scheduling
If Caledonia has key players that are injured, I see why they wanted it this way. But it could go either way. They could look great with the extra rest, or they might be a little off their game from sitting.

Re: Playoffs are just around the corner
From talking to players pelham wants st catherines instead of ancaster because they cant match ancasters speed. Welland wants to play ancaster from the sounds of it. St catherines is gonna have a tough time getting through to the final in my opinion. Pelham has shown signs that they can compete wit...

Re: Trouble in Komoka
It looks like Komoka deserves some credit. Its the last week of the season and they sit in 7th place, with two teams behind them. It's going to be an interesting week, as three teams battle for the last two playoff spots. Komoka, Strathroy, St.Marys, all have a realistic shot at the playoffs. Any th...

Top teams
So what's everyone thinking about league winners this year? It might be a two team race in all three divisions. But I think the West will end up being the hardest division to win in the playoffs. Leamington is probably the favorite followed closely by London. But Sarnia, Chatham, & St.Thomas loo...

Playoffs are just around the corner
The top 5 seeds are pretty much locked in place. Caledonia, St.Catharines, Ancaster, Niagara Falls, & Thorold. But there's a battle for 6th spot that will come down the last two games of the season for Pelham & Welland. Pelham has a one point lead over Welland, both teams have two games left...

Re: Race to the Finish
Chatham has been inconsistent but if the last 3 games are any sign of what play offs are going to be like then things could be interesting for sure Chatham has a lot of firepower. I think they're a little underrated. Their goaltending has been questionable at times, but Wagner has been really good ...

Re: Race to the Finish
I think London will end up getting first but IF it ends up Leamington and London I think the Flyers have a real shot. Also a couple possible first round matchups, as of now Lasalle and Chatham would play I believe. I could definatley see the Maroons pulling off an upset. Chatham has been very incon...

Looks pretty quiet in here this year. During previous seasons, I used to start threads about many different things in the league. I used to say that I was trying to pump more life into this forum. Well, after being told by a few members that my threads were useless, etc, and having the owner of the ...

Re: Trade
Caledonia has made some good moves. Gardiner will add even more scoring. The other forward has had a good first couple of games. And getting defensmen J.W. was a pretty big move in my opinion.
Getting Guest was huge for Niagara Falls. Their top 4 defensemen are as good as anyones.

Re: LEAFS WIN NHL DRAFT!!!
Matthews continues to prove he's miles ahead of Laine. Looks a lot better than Eichel to. It isn't just the insane shot he has, a shot that's left goalies barely able to flinch a few times... It's everything. He's an amazing player to watch out there. Plays a complete 200 foot game. Leafs look like ...
